University of Lahore becomes first University from Pakistan to implement SAP SLcM & FIORI
The University of Lahore has successfully implemented SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM), the very first ever in Pakistan, with help of Biafotech. With this University of Lahore has gone past ahead of the rest of the Universities not only in Pakistan but also in the region; setting an example and a milestone for the education sector to follow.
Biafotech has expended expert knowledge and SAP experience to pair integrate and synchronize the University of Lahore’s operations with SAP SLcM in under 5 months – which is a feat not yet achieved by any leading SAP consulting companies working in the region. In the first phase of this go-live, the University of Lahore’s Gujrat Campus will have all of their student and administrative tasks managed through Student Lifecycle Management (SLCM) through the intuitive UI/UX of FIORI apps. This also allows Students and Staff to engage in comprehensive Self Service using any device, including their smartphones.
The SLcM will capitalize the big data of the student management program which shall see the processes of enrollment, grading, monitoring, scheduling, assessment not only integrated but highly optimized to run a big educational organization. SLcM delivers an automated online portal for students to enroll, register, assess semester-wise progress, and highly prepare the students for self-evaluation. This goes on to show how the University of Lahore has become one of the most progressive Universities in the region in physical and IT infrastructure. Just a few months back the University of Lahore also embarked on establishing Pakistan’s first TIA-942 certified Rated III Data Center in Higher Education and perhaps only second in the country after PTCL.
The UAT sign-off was attended by the CTO of the Biafotech Mr.Usman Javaid Malik and the Pro-Rector of the University of Lahore Prof Nasir Mahmood along with Campus Director Mr.Naveed Akbar. University of Lahore and Biafotech showed their trust in each other and committed to completing the rollout in all of the University campuses in the next 5 month’s time.
