Consultant SAP PS
Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the successful implementation of SAP Project System, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide expertise in SAP PS configuration, customization, and optimization.
- Oversee and enhance various project functionalities, including Timesheet, Workforce Planning, WBS Scheduling, WBS Planning, Results Analysis, Budgets, Capitalization, Settlement, and forecasting processes.
- Ensure effective utilization of SAP PS for project planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Establish seamless integration between SAP PS and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, HR, FI, CO, PP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address integration challenges and optimize business processes.
- Manage and execute Data Migration Activities for both Transactional Data and Master Data within SAP PS.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Develop and maintain PS S_ALR Reports for project tracking and performance analysis.
- Analyze and maintain the Claims Register to support decision-making processes.
- Create clear and comprehensive Functional Specification Documents to guide development and configuration activities.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of SAP PS configurations and customizations.
- Utilize expertise in SAP Fiori applications to enhance user experience within the SAP PS module.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of S/4 HANA functionalities, including Business Partner, Migration Cockpit, BRF+, and tables in HANA.
- Collaborate with technical teams, providing sufficient knowledge of ABAP, Fiori, and technical aspects to ensure effective project execution.
- Work closely with business managers to understand, optimize, and align SAP PS with organizational business processes.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in project management practices.
- Apply strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills to address issues, troubleshoot system errors, and optimize SAP PS functionalities.
- Quickly adapt to new problem domains and find effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Project System.
- Proven experience in at least one S/4 HANA Implementation Project.
- Solid understanding of S/4 HANA functionalities, including Business Partner, Migration Cockpit, BRF+, and tables in HANA.
- Sufficient knowledge of ABAP and Fiori for effective technical coordination.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in stakeholder management and working with CxO levels.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp new challenges and find effective solutions.
- Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create comprehensive Functional Specification Documents.
- In-depth knowledge of business processes, especially in project management.
- Strong integration skills with other SAP modules (SD, MM, HR, FI, CO, PP).
- Experience in handling Data Migration Activities for Transactional Data and Master Data.
- Ability to foster successful cooperation with customer departments, understanding their business processes and needs.
